A New Product
10/14/09 16:13
We have been working on a box for gun storage. It is
our Mobile Caddy. The box has wheels and a handle for
easy movement. Inside the box has pockets to place
guns, pockets for chargers and a fan. There is also a
removable tray to keep any of your accessories. You can
charge up to ten guns at one time and make sure that
you equipment is dry.
Tagcon 2009
10/14/09 14:32
Tagcon was successful again this year. There were
around 30 people who participated. After a few games to
warm up, the real scenario began. This year was the
police vs bootleggers. Everyone seemed to enjoy the
day. Awards were given to several people, appropriately
decorated with beer caps. Next year will hopefully be
even bigger.
IAAPA in the Netherlands
10/13/09 15:36
We had a booth at the show in the Netherlands. The show
was one of the biggest our staff has seen. We talked to
some potential customers and several current customers.
We have already had orders from people that we met at
the show. Amsterdam is a beautiful city!
We are in our permanent home!
10/13/09 15:20
We have moved again. We are now in our permanent home.
Our new address is 643 Ferry Street, Lafayette IN
47901. Our phone and fax did not change. We are no
longer renting and have a large amount of space to
grow. While moving twice in the last year has not been
fun for us or our customers, but is worth everything to
have this wonderful building to call ours.
New RMA Forms
05/26/09 16:47
We now have a new form and system to help us repair
equipment more efficiently for you. If you call us with
a repair, we will give you an RMA number and e-mail you
a form. If you fill out the form for us, it can shorten
the time it takes for us to make the necessary repair.
We will then be able to get your equipment back to you
faster. We appreciate your assistance with this and
know that this new system will help everyone.
We've been on CBS The Price is Right
03/26/09 16:15
Our equipment has been on The Price is Right three
times now. No one has won it yet, so it will be on
again in the future. It is wild to see our logo and
guns on a show that has been on the air for what seems
like forever. Getting our name on national TV is pretty
neat!
The first showing can be viewed here.
The second showing can be viewed here.

We're moving again!
03/26/09 16:10
Sometime near the end of the year, we'll be moving. We
enjoy our current space, with lots of room to do all
that we need to do. Our landlords are moving back into
the building, so we are back on the hunt for a new
place. We will keep you posted on the situation and our
new address.
Our new address
02/17/09 14:55
For those who don't already know, we have moved. We
moved several months ago and have settled in nicely. We
have expanded to do almost all of our own shipping. Our
new address is 420 N 4th Street, Lafayette IN 47901.
Our new phone number is (765) 420-9201. Our new fax is
(765)535-5040. If you are in the area please stop by
and see us!!
What Has Been Going On
02/10/09 13:46
Steradian Technologies was contacted by CBS Price is
Right back in December. Our laser tag gear will be part
of their show as a prize. The taping was in January and
will air on the 19th of this month. Also 2 weeks ago
MTV contacted us and will be purchasing 12 guns for
spring break in Panama City Florida in March.
Kevin is hoping that they might need help with setting
up and training, so he is trying to convience others
that he should go.
Business is doing well. Last summer Kevin went to Austin TX to train a frachise company called Games2u. They are a mobile video gaming business with laser tag included. Look for one in your area!

Customer "Where to play" Page
08/08/08 16:17
We have added a new page to our website. It includes
our customers who own fields or are mobile businesses.
We have divided the list up among continents to make it
easy to use. Any new customers will be added to this
page as soon as possible. Please make sure that we have
correct information. Let us know if we have made a
mistake so that we can fix it. If anyone would like to
add information or pictures, please e-mail us at
sales@steradiantech.com.
Continual Growth
08/08/08 14:26
We have been busy around the office and have been
working on several new projects. Because we are
spreading our wings in many areas, we will be moving
into a much larger facility within the next month. No
more bumping elbows with your neighbor while working on
a soldering project. Tom Baker, one of our owners can
even have his laptop, soldering iron and oscilloscope
in one area! We plan on continuing production
throughout the move, so our customers will not notice a
lull. We are very much looking forward to having more
space! We will update everyone on our new address and
phone numbers as soon as possible.
EAS 2008
02/18/08 16:23
During the month of January Steradian attended the EAS
Show in Niece France. Alex Moon, one of our owners was
the lucky employee who got to take the trip. He enjoyed
all of the cultural differences and many different
kinds of cheeses, and had a very successful trip. He
looked forward to seeing some of our overseas customers
and putting some faces with names. It is nice to see
that the fun of laser tag is still growing and we are
continuing to see the Steradian family grow more and
more each year.
Eclipse 310
02/18/08 16:08
We now have new Eclipse gun bodies, they are the
Eclipse 310. These new bodies are the same lightweight,
durable, plastic that our customers are used to. They
also have the added bonus of having iron sights molded
into the top of the body. This is just a new look for
the Eclipse. It acts and responds the same way that the
Eclipse 300 always has.
IAAPA 2007
11/20/07 14:35
We went to the IAAPA Show in Orlando last week. We had a good time at the show and talked with some old and some potentially new customers. It is always nice to see friends and to put faces with familiar voices over the phone. We had a good show so if you are thinking about ordering, please call us soon so you do not have a longer lead time.
Milling Machine
10/30/07 16:59
We now can make our own parts! We bought a milling
machine so that we can customize our equipment even
more. We will be making more and more of parts and not
have to wait on shipping as much. The machine we bought
can be seen at www.tormach.com. We are looking
forward to learning and using this new tool.
Orlando Show 2007
10/17/07 16:27
In mid November we will be at the Orlando IAPPA show.
This show is the biggest in United States. We are
getting ready to show our newest designs and ideas. We
are excited to see what our competition has been up to
this year and have a successful show. We will have
orders coming in after the show, which has made us have
to use lead times in the past. If you are interested in
placing an order, remember that we will be very busy
after the show. We'll post pictures once we are back
from the show.
Product Lineup Change
08/17/07 13:04
This has been a year for refinements. Every product in
the Steradian lineup has gone through refinements in
production, useability, look, colors, labeling and
more. The next step we're in the process of is
introducing a DVD with rules for the players, and full
instructions for the field owner.
Another change we have made is to remove the AWS from the website. The AWS is designed for OEM's and custom integration, and was confusing the rest of our product lineup. If you are interested in the AWS, contact us directly at sales@steradiantech.com.

Our Target System
08/16/07 15:09
We have added a new target system to our equipment. You
can attach them to anything you wish a tree, a wall,
etc. . They can add to your game by allowing players to
aim and get feedback before or between games. The
flashing red light lets you know that the target is
armed and a white light lets you know that the target
has been shot. They can be set to re-arm every one,
two, five seconds or never .
One More New Color
08/16/07 14:58
We now also have S-7 TE's in green. You can now blend
right into the trees! It is one more option for you to
think about when ordering your equipment.
New Colors
06/13/07 12:35
We have just gotten two new colors for our S-7 Tactical
Edition gun bodies. You may now order your S-7
equipment in red, blue or black! We are excited about
this small change and are interested to hear what you
think! You can now divide your teams by gun color or
arm-band. Other than color, the guns are exactly the
same. Just more choices for you to choose from. Let us
know what you think by e-mailing sales@steradiantech.com.
New Ideas
05/02/07 15:58
We are still coming up with new ideas and equipment.
Even while working to fill orders, talk is often
focused on how to improve equipment or add to the
product line. We will always be improving designs and
trying to challenge ourselves to come up with unique
ideas. We have not had the time that we would like to
be able to produce these ideas at a marketable level
yet, but new ideas are on the horizon. We are very
excited about some of them and are sure that you will
be too. You'll have to wait right along with us before
we are all able to use any of these new products, but
hopefully we will be able to release them in the near
future.
Euro Show
05/02/07 15:39
In February one of our staff went to the Euro Show
which was in Spain to show off our equipment. The show
went very well for us. We blew our competitors out of
the water. It went so well that we got numerous orders
from all around Europe. We are ecstatic that our
equipment is being accepted so well. We have had lots
of great feedback from customers. This has also caused
us to be slightly over-whelmed with orders. Our lead
time has changed from six to eight weeks for right now.
We have also had a hard time getting our parts in
larger quantities to fill the orders. We are still
working diligently to try to keep up with the orders
and of course keep the quality that Steradian is known
for. We are very excited to have so many new members of
the Steradian family and to see that laser tag is
spreading throughout Europe.
IAPPA 2006
12/05/06 16:15
Our company's third Expo Show of the year was in
Atlanta, GA in November. We were able to send our brand
new S-7 Tactical Edition to the show, which was a hit.
Besides a brand new single circuit board design, we
have added tactical accessory rails for accessories such as front
grip and tactical light.
We received a tremendous response to the Eclipse 300 and Scorpion II Grenades in Atlanta. Our light weight, kid friendly Eclipse 300 has been a big hit! Our staff were wonderfully busy at the show and again had kids and adults playing with our equipment in the isles. From looking at other laser tag booths, we had an enormous amount of traffic. We not only took orders at the show but took checks and credit card numbers. By the time all of the staff were back home we had orders for sixty-five guns. We were all excited! This has made things quite busy back at Steradian Technologies. Our equipment is continuing to be in high demand. Not only are we filling many orders from the show, but we also received several orders from Santa that needed to be filled right away for his "nice boys and girls" list. Of corse we are always working on new ideas, so the new year is also looking bright.

Eclipse 300

By: Amy
When we started building the Eclipse 300 we had a smoke colored gun body that we were adapting for our technology. Then one day we opened up a shipment of gun bodies and instead of smoke, they were blue! From conducting a quick opinion poll, it was clear that we had two winners! Wanting to please as many people as we can, we inquired if we could get more blue bodies. Guess what? Of course not. The manufacturer does not know if he will be getting any more blue bodies and it could be as far away as four months before he does know if he can get more. So for now the Eclipse 300 will be in a smoke body. We'll see what we can do to get the blue back!

Fun Expo
10/09/06 15:08
By: Amy
This year was the first year that I had attended Fun Expo in Las Vegas, NV. While I have set up, organized shows, and attended them, I had not yet been a vendor. I'm not sure which responsibility I have enjoyed more.
We were hoping to have a new backdrop to start the show. I didn't have it ready early enough. So we started the show out with our older backdrop. Because of my inexperience, I was not sure what to expect from the show. We set up the booth at first, probably in the worst way possible. We had our equipment at the back of the booth and didn't have enough space to fit everyone who wanted to get a feel of the equipment.
Part of the way through the show, our new backdrop arrived. Because of this change, I wanted to arrange the equipment so that it didn't block the new backdrop and was easily accessible to anyone interested. We then moved the tables and had our equipment out along the isle. We couldn't believe what a difference it made! Maybe it is old hat to some, but it was an educational accident for me. People were flowing through our booth so much easier! We had so much more traffic to our booth after that. We are hoping that we are approchable for all no matter where the equipment is placed, but this was too easy. I think being able to walk by our booth and being able to touch or shoot the equipment is something that some people just can't resist. Some people would walk by and be obviosly trying not to look at the equpment. You could see them slow down before they entirely cleared the booth.
Some people would do a u-turn in
the aisle and come back just to shoot at our
mannequin. We had some younger boys stop by the
booth and play a short game before Mom and Dad
said it was time to go. We also had a young woman
stop by three times to, "try it one more time."
Some people who are all in favor of paintball were
starting to slow down and take a look at the more
realistic-looking guns that we have. Whether
someone is into running around in the woods and
shooting his buddies, or a family may just want to
wear down the kids at a family gathering, it
seemed like everyone was having fun. We are hoping
for business connections from Fun Expo of course,
but I think it was more fun than work for me.
